I am originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina where I worked from
Charlotte NC to Lancaster South Carolina building custom homes.
My primary field of construction was as a Frame Carpenter. We
built the homes from the ground up including installing the
windows and doors. Often times the roofing and siding on the
homes were completed by the framing crew as well. In Rock Hill I
also have family in the electrical business of which I have
worked with on and off over the years.
In January of 2000, I move to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. On the
Outer Banks I met my wife and eventually went to work for myself
running a framing crew. I maintained a crew of 4-6 men for
several years building oceanfront custom homes. Along with
building the homes I would also build the decks, fences and
boardwalks to the beach. These outdoor carpentry projects had to
be completed with trim like perfection and be able to withstand
the brutal ocean breeze.
In 2007 my family relocated to Mooresville. I searched for work building
homes and struggled to find desirable employment. The housing
market had fallen and not much building was going on in this
area. I painted a sign that said "Handyman" and had my phone
number on it. Within 72 hours I got my first call. Since I have
been blessed to have met many new people and been able to
provide for my family.
